About · Spidey Labs Limited

Built where the problem lives.

An operating system for Kenya's cooperative agriculture — born on a working coffee estate, not in a pitch deck.

MkulimaOS started on Mulinga Coffee Estate, in the Nyeri highlands. The founder needed a better way to mark attendance, compute piece-rate wages with the correct statutory deductions, and pay 24 pickers without driving to a bank. That problem is solved — and running in production every month.

Then the harder problem came into focus. The estate's pain was one farm's version of a national wound: Kenya's cooperatives — the institutions most farmers are paid through — still run on paper nobody can audit. So the payroll tool grew into an operating system: member registry, graded intake, per-member settlement, aggregation and export compliance, with thin packs for each commodity on one shared core.

We are a small team and we move carefully. We do not claim features that are not shipped — if something is on the roadmap we say so, in writing, on every page. If you want to be an early cooperative or estate that shapes the product, write to us. Onboarding takes an afternoon.
